In July, #Coding4Mandela participants received 300 lunch boxes from Dutoit Group
For in July, sponsored over 300 lunch boxes to be distributed to some participants. We received the following message earlier this week: “I realized we sometimes take small gestures we make to learners lightly. Recently I noticed that almost daily, our learners still use the Dutoit lunch containers.”
A total of 1 700 participants from 209 schools competed against each other to see who would finish the Juicy Gems coding game in the fastest time. A total of 20 500 scores were submitted to Tangible Africa.
At the beginning of this year Tangible Africa set out to reach 100 schools across Nelson Mandela Bay with coding and computational thinking training.
Being recognised for his exemplary leadership and commitment to society as the co-founder and CEO of the Leva Foundation, Ryan le Roux received a Nelson Mandela University 2025 Alumni Achiever Award on 20 June.
